MeetNader Hamzeh

Hamzeh was a student at the faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University. He experiments with colors and lines in a very open-minded manner, drawing inspiration also from phenomena to be observed in the city or in nature; such as the aesthetic marks and traces that the everyday urban life leaves behind or from the abstract ciphers – forms, structures, patterns – in the natural environment. Hamzeh sees our present as an intermediate stage in which technology plays a significant role. But we humans cannot harness this technology; on the contrary, we have become more of an appendage of technology.
