About the Artist

Looping Lovers is a multidimensional artist duo consisting of Philipp Ries and Thomas Mayer. Their works are about humanoid beings that move and float freely in digital space independent of physical laws. In this space, which they define as digital sensuality, an exciting contrast between realism and surreality emerges. The central elements are body shapes, colors, and textures that convey a sense of body language through endlessly looping movements and conserve it in time.
