Fine art print on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl, 2019 edition of 10 (numbered and signed) "Symbiosis" is a portrait of three siblings and an interpretation of the mutual emotional dependence we face as humans.
Theresa Maria Forthaus (*1996) works as in the field of tension between visual and performing arts. In addition to the medium of photography, her artistic work is based on experimental video works that combine performance, text and sound art. The interdisciplinary projects stage an interplay between the intangible and the seemingly mundane, exploring the limits of our human perception of body and space. Her artistic research is characterized by themes of embodiment, relational aesthetics, phenomenology, and (body) language. In 2019, Theresa Maria Forthaus completed her bachelor's degree in "Crossmedia Design" at AKI ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design in Enschede (NL). During her semester abroad at the University of the Arts London (UK), her photographs were published and digitally exhibited at the Hayward Gallery and later at the Tate Modern in London, among others. Furthermore, she is part of the MeetFrida Exhibition current/s at the Streetside Gallery in Hamburg. She now lives and works in Berlin.
