With this small sculpture to hang I deal with religions and your insignia. In a plastic container formerly used for tomatoes is a sewn and embroidered textile figurine, which is enthroned on a staircase between two bent figures made of papier-mache and silicone. The container, which was once used as packaging waste and is now an altar that can be closed as needed, has been covered with candy paper, which gives the surface a rich, inlay-like appearance.
The artist about her work: "Since I can think, color-form and material compositions exert a strong fascination on me. The combination of often several materials and forms of expression such as painting and drawing with various printing, dyeing and textile techniques are characteristic of my work. The resulting relief effect gives the light from every angle differently, the appropriate material picks up the meaning of a theme on another level. Mainly I implement personal experiences, nature and travel impressions, as well as current events, and would like to tell the viewers a story- even more I am happy when they find their own story a bit in my work."
