Wax oil crayon, scratch drawing, watercolor on painting cardboard/ frame: Cardboard, textured velvet, cross stitch work of the Hmong tribe in Thailand), 2022. A dream is unpredictable because it is controlled by the subconscious. The colors are strange, there is no hold and no clear direction, so my painting has none either. Inspired by Buddhist scroll paintings, I framed it with a textile frame.
The artist about her work: "Since I can think, color-form and material compositions exert a strong fascination on me. The combination of often several materials and forms of expression such as painting and drawing with various printing, dyeing and textile techniques are characteristic of my work. The resulting relief effect gives the light from every angle differently, the appropriate material picks up the meaning of a theme on another level. Mainly I implement personal experiences, nature and travel impressions, as well as current events, and would like to tell the viewers a story- even more I am happy when they find their own story a bit in my work."
